English Speech: Stop Free Sex!

Assalamualaikum wr.wb

With all due respect to the honorable judges representing, to the lecturer of Speaking Class Mrs. Intan here attending, and to all of the audiences, my friends, ladies and gentlemen, good morning everyone!

            First of all, let us thank Allah SWT which because of His blessings, we all can gather here on this event. Shalawat and prayer we will say to our greatest prophet, Muhammad SAW, his family, his friends, and his followers and his following followers till the day of judgement. Amien!

In this special even t of final test Speaking, I take this great opportunity to deliver a speech under the title “STOP FREE SEX!”

Ladies and gentlemans,

Teenagers are the most important part of the growth of the country. They are the new generation. However there are many teenagers have been depraved. They run to drugs, commit suicide free sex, drink alcohol, smoking, etc. Those are spreading in teenagers’ life. And the most popular problem is free sex. Many teenagers think that sex before married is proper. We know that it is very bad for them. There are many bad effect of free sex. Such as, we can suffer from HIV/AIDS and then the pregnancy for the girls. It will damage their future.

Free sex is a relationship that carried out by men and women n have a sex before marriage. Free sex behavior that happen in teenagers can be caused by a attention of their parent. They  are busy so that each child doesn’t get knowledge about sex from parents  because that sometimes teenagers fall on to free sex .free sex can happen if teenagers are less mature thought to do something, and also of friends.sometimes friends have a bad influence and forced to try something new so they are trying to have sex with their GF/BF without thinking of consequences that will happen. 

Our culture is a culture that is very popular with the culture that have religious values are strong, but right now it’s all gradually lost due to the influence of foreign cultures for example is a way of dating,an old teen dating by mail and rarely meet directly, even to get closer they were afraid, but now teens are dating is not through the mail anymore because they are already modern n think that old style is not good . revolution lead the way dating to grow even cross its line, they are not afraid to lead even further, such as have a free sex with their girlfriend or boyfriend during their dating. 

            According to some research, quite a lot of factors that cause free sex behavior. One of them is the consequence or effect of varieties of entertaintment. What they watch, what they hear, what they see correlated positively and significantly in shaping their behavior, especially movies and soap operas,both watch the film on TV and a movie. Indeed we say thanks for because Indonesian movie began to rise again, that is marked by the emergence of Indonesian films sold out in the market. for example, the film Ada Apa Dengan Cinta, Eiffel IA ¢ â, ¬ â “¢ m in Love, 30 Day Love, and Virgin. But thankful was instantly disappeared along with the impact of the film. Especially to teenagers who watched it. 

The films mentioned above sold out in the market not because of the quality of the film but rather because the film’s selling teenagers life, even they do exploite teenagers life. The film is preferred by many young teens not because of quality cinematography, but because the film’s plot picked up the love life of teenagers today. The film was successfully watched by teenagers, because they offer many exciting scenes. So that they make ‘date style’ darely and it’s truth that violate social norms, specially religion.It’s difficult to understand what the real mission to be conveyed by the film to the audience. Not only because it does not describe the real situation that the majority of teenagers in Indonesia, but also because the film was watched by children who haven’t known of good and bad in life. They were only able to follow n imitate the example of what is served around them. As a result, teenage dating style modeled on the movies they watch. It’s not surprised that nowdays, dating is peppered with the free sex, eventually become a popular habit among teenagers. Then become the social pathologies such as the research that I’ve told to you above. 

Technology can causes free sex. The revolution of the technology cause teens accept the changes. Simply technology such as internet can lead them to have free sex, with all of thousands of pornographic websites on the internet so that for them who watch it can tempt to try a scene on the internet. Even internet cafe or warnet become one of place for them to look for it or the couple pretend to online together while have it inside. It’s realy bad. But in reality home become a favorite place for them, when it’s empty no body or a guard or their parent in the home the devil actually make them to think about free sex in the home.

The way to solve the problem above is, first: make the children busy doing good things such as have course, learn something new, doing their hobby or learn new hobby, or register them in Islamic boarding house. So they have good time n get religious material more without doing anything negative. Besides the parent should refresh their children sometimes when feel bored or frustrated with all activities, try to have a good time together in a family.

Teenagers must be given sex education especially at school. The need of comprehension about human sexuality in teenagers’ life must be fulfilled. They must know about free sex life and the sex crime that often happened. They must aware about responsibility of their self. They should get much information about sexuality rightly for them. The information can be given by sex education at school. The teachers can describe sex for the students in order that the teenagers will avoid sex before married.

School is good mediator in giving sex education for the teenagers. School has good condusif situation. School and the teachers are the second circle after the family. It will be better if the teachers hold an event like seminar with a doctor as the speaker. In order that the teenagers can get sex education deeply and give them the aim of sexual activity correctly. With sex education, the teenagers will be careful in doing something about sex. Although they know about how to avoid the pregnancy, put virginity is very important for the woman. Sex before married just makes us fall into a trap. There are some aims of sex education for the teenagers. Which are they can understand that sexuality as the part of life. They also know about the consequences of un-responsible sex activity.
So, sex education is very needed for the teenagers. Starting now, sex education must be given to them. And for sure, the teenagers that fall into free sex. Drugs, alcohol, etc just a few part of many teenagers that want to study hard, and avoiding free sex.
